Visit our projects, meet the children and staff, understand the issues being faced and explore your role as a Global Citizen. We can arrange trips to meet your supported children exclusively for your school or you can join our joint trips for all ages and share your experience with other volunteers!
Welcome to Uganda!
Travel overseas to Uganda with Edukid. During this 7-12* day visit you will be able to immerse yourself into the heart of Uganda, exploring its rich culture and connecting with local children, families and communities. Throughout the trip, you will be visiting Edukid’s in-country partner schools in Uganda.
A range of activities will be available to you during your trip. Example activities will include:
• Connecting with students in the Edukid programme to carry out engaging activities, for example arts and crafts, observing lessons, sporting activities and much more!
• Visit the Edukid projects to learn about the global issues facing children in Uganda, and learn how Edukid and their in-country team are making a positive impact. Project visits include: Tour of the girls dormitory, a water walk to see where and how students collect their water, a visit to the Edukid land to learn about sustainable agriculture and learn about the solar panel project which provides safe, and sustainable light for all students.
You will also have the opportunity to experience an unforgettable African Safari at the Murchison Fall National Park and a scenic river Nile cruise to Murchison Falls waterfall – the most powerful waterfall in the world!

Welcome to Cambodia!
Travel overseas with Edukid to Cambodia. This trip is designed to empower participants to explore their role as global citizens and to immerse yourself into the Khmer culture and rich history. The trip will last anywhere from 7-12 days*.
A range of activities will be available to you during your trip. Example activities will include:
- Community engagement work whereby you will be able to connect with children and locals to participate in meaningful projects aims at making a positive impact. Experience first-hand the Edukid programme in Cambodia, where you will have the opportunity to engage with children and visit their after school lessons. Hear their stories about the power of education.
- Delving into the rich Khmer culture and history by visiting museums, markets and meeting the Edukid in-country team for Khmer language lessons.
You will also have the opportunity to visit Angkor Wat (the 8th wonder of the world) at sunrise and experience a scenic cruise down the Mekong River.

Welcome to Peru!
Travel overseas with Edukid to Peru. This trip will offer an unforgettable opportunity to explore the ancient and beautiful South American nation, while listening and learning about the Ingenious Awajun Community and their experiences to global issues such as poverty, hunger and climate change. Over the course of the 7-12 days*, we will spend time in the northern Amazona regions, the southern coastal capital city and the mountainous regions of Eastern Peru.
A range of activities will be available to you during your trip. Example activities will include:
- Connecting with students in the Edukid programme to carry out engaging activities, for example arts and crafts, observing lessons, sporting activities and much more!
- Connecting with the Awajun community to learn about their culture, history and experiences to global issues.
The Edukid project is based in northern Peru in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. During your time in Peru you will have the opportunity to experience life deep within the Amazon rainforest and take an unforgettable boat ride to the Awajun jungle village.
