Searching for volunteering opportunities for my Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) award was initially a challenge until I discovered Edukid’s global citizenship program. This programme immediately stood out to me, as it offered a chance to create a meaningful impact in our world. Edukid provided extensive lesson guides and support from the team, helping me set up my own fundraiser.
With the assistance of my friends, I was able to organise a bake sale at my school. We were thrilled to raise nearly £100, which was donated to support three students with a year’s worth of emergency medical care. Through my volunteering experience with Edukid, I developed essential life skills such as organization and leadership. More importantly, I learned that we all have the power to make a positive difference in the world.
