I chose to volunteer with Edukid because I wanted to hopefully help as many people who need it. My friend and I made cake pops and sold them around our school to raise money so families in Uganda can receive seeds to grow crops therefore providing food security. We raised over £100 and helped 20 families. We were worried about them not selling well but stayed positive and nearly sold out. We’ve grown in confidence and learnt more about the struggles of people around the world and resources like SDG (sustainable development goals). Anyone looking to make a difference in the world around them and learn beneficial skills should definitely choose to work with Edukid.
