UGANDA FUNDRAISERS:

On June 26th Mary Thingy will run 6 miles tied by the leg to her sister Shirley!  Their three legged effort is set to raise over £200 in sponsorship.  This money will help a Ugandan child who is living alone and walks 6 miles to school every day.  If he can pay to board at school he will have more time and energy  to study.

Sinaed kindly lent her support to edukid recording an introduction for our new video.  Her voice is also on the edukid ansaphone.  Many thanks Sinaed.

There are many ways you can become involved with edukid.

Firstly you can support children through giving monthly/annually. This way you know the exact children you are helping. You'll recieve an update of the project and in some instances can even visit your children.

Secondly by using your hobbies, interests, gifts and contacts to support edukid. Everyone has some way in which they can help, whether it is having a cake sale once a month, running a marathon or jumping out of an aeroplane!

Encourage your company to become involved or invite us to give a talk at your organisation.

The most important thing is to pick something you can enjoy, or people who can help you. edukid have resources, videos and information that can help you in this. Most of our income is from word-of-mouth so please just contact us.

Of course you can get involved immediately by arranging a  donation directly via this website.
From school children to pop-idols, anyone can get involved with edukid.

Making a positive difference for others feels good...whoever you are.

TV sports presenter Paul Sherwin helps on our Uganda video.
